I first met Peter when he was at Singers, not a lot to sell there (esp the football fund!) but he was never pushy. I did a bit of "corporate"with Peter (those were the days) Singers had a box at Watford. One time he had a late drop out for Man Utd in the Champions League and asked if I would fill in. After the match he drove me all the way home to Beckenham before going back over the river, arriving home about 3am! I always admired Peter, such a carefree lifestyle, lots of golf and skiing holidays. Always effortless, always fun. Clearly here for a good time but sadly not a long time, Simon Wood.
